Pauli is a great professor for the ecology unit of Bio 152. He makes the lecture content very easy to follow and understand. Participations during lectures are required and for accuracy. The labs for this class are not as hard, but instead you will have to do a semester long research project that will be presented at a symposium so be ready!Rate My Professors ↗
Was nervous about this class because of what I'd heard, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Honestly, Pauli was one of my favorite professors I've had at UW :) He's clear about what he wants from students and pushed all of us to do our best at all times. Dr. Pauli is a very nice professor, and he makes lectures engaging. The textbook for the ecology module is long with lots of vocab, but reading it does help a lot. The homework assignments for the ecology module are longer than the other modules (evolution and plants), and the exam is the hardest of the 3 exams in my opinion.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Pauli is a good lecturer. He does tend to get very off topic and lectures are usually miles behind lab and discussion homeworks. I'm currently typing this in his lecture because he's been on the same slide for like 15 minutes. Personally never went to office hours, but he seems willing to help.
