I didn't learn how to write linear algebra proofs. The classes were supposed to be 75 min. but he shortened them to an hour and did mini lectures throughout the week. This caused there to be classes where he would speed through theorems and proofs, and then the mini lecture would be completely unrelated. Proofs on tests were SO much harder than hw.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor John tries his best, but it's just not good enough. Class is a mess; he goes off on incoherent tangents and is hard to follow. His exams are way tougher than the other exams for the class. I know a bunch of smart people (who got A's in other high level math courses) who got BCs in his class. I would try to avoid his class if possible.Rate My Professors ↗

He tries to make the class engaging and everything. But he doesn't focus on people who really just wanna learn. He goes on a tangent and his exams are quite difficult.Rate My Professors ↗

Can be an entertaining lecturer, he works to ensure the class is participating & adjusts course when things are not getting through. Interacting with Prof 1-on-1 is complete opposite, he is rude and dismissive. Poorly executed grading on HW and exams were consistent issues which negatively affected students (grades are feedback).Rate My Professors ↗
