About this rating

Raw average: 2.20/5 from 5 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Quality 1/5Difficulty 5/5
Discussions are fast-paced. His teaching style is very difficult to follow. Going into office hours clarified nothing with him. He also made some inappropriate comments at times, making the course uncomfortable. You will save yourself from a huge headache & poor grade if you can avoid him. Seriously - avoid at all costs.

Quality 1/5Difficulty 4/5
Inappropriate at times, teaching style was not in coherence to what was covered in lecture. Definitely try to avoid him as a TA, but if you are stuck in this class pay more attention to lecture and try to remeber specifics strand says in discussion to repeat verbatim on exams. You will likely feed his ego and get a decent grade. Final Note:AVOID!!!

Quality 2/5Difficulty 3/5
He is very knowledgeable which helps when you ask questions. Discussion is a bit fast pace. It helps clarify what you didnt get in lecture, thats about it. Best advice, discuss nothing with him via email other than setting up time to meet. He is really nice and helps students in person but is completely different over email it will shock you.

I hated going to the discussions because I felt like I got absolutely nothing out of them. I would avoid having him as a TA.

Quality 5/5Difficulty 3/5
He is one of the TAs for PS104. Discussions are mandatory but are very helpful in solidifying core ideas for the test. He is somewhat of a tough grader on the assigned paper so make sure to work hard on it and meet with him prior to handing it in. Highly suggest him as a TA.
