Drop in tutoring and reading the textbook will be your friends. Class is important as he will mention important stuff not sent in emails(like when homework is due) and gives extra credit quizzes.",

If the class size were smaller it would probably be the most useful engineering class there is, but having 40 people makes it hard to follow. The class is HARD and way more time consuming than I expected. The final was not cumulative and covered 400 pages of a research like textbook",

He doesn't know how to properly educate undergrads. He has a obnoxiously unrealistic expectations of his students. There is no book, so your best source are your peers, work together.",
