John's lectures are really funny! He's a young professor, so he's very relatable. Attending lecture is absolutely necessary to understand what's going on in the class, but not much additional work is needed. Homework is short and straightforward.Rate My Professors ↗
Davis is young and an amazing teacher. He understands the struggle students go through and is helpful. 371 is a difficult class, but the curve is generous and John is hilarious and just an all around great guy. I would highly recommend him for 371Rate My Professors ↗
Mr. Davis is a great teacher! The way he explains things makes everything very clear. He is very goofy and funny too. He tells funny stories (questionably true) in between subjects. Just today he was giving a lecture on Normal Distribution and he was flapping his arms around like crazy. It was so cute. But seriously though, his class is great.Rate My Professors ↗
John is especially skilled at taking beginner statisticians and transforming them into masters of the art. Two words: Personable and inspirational. MORE THAN your avg prerq. John obviously is genius but communicates with you like an old friend. Also great story teller (trending?). 1010, knows his stuff, and he will show you what's what in STATs.Rate My Professors ↗
Good God. John saved my semester in Stats. I was dreading it but I forced myself to go. I went because I had to and I stayed for his interesting lectures and to gaze at his beautiful body.
