His downside was that he was far too pro-Soviet Union. He was also quite negative towards the United Kingdom. No doubt his Irish surname had something to do with it. If you dont like to sit through 75 minutes of material, you can still read the books and do well in the class. 2 Midterms and a Final which are straightforward and graded by the TAs Love the class. I like history, but the Populists just aren't all that exciting to me. On the bright side, the class is pretty easy. One midterm with a really broad choice of questions, and a take home final. That's it. Leans left.",
