A very good instructor. He does his best to make the topic of American politics and government interesting. Read the book. It'll help tremendously and go to lecture. His lectures are easy to understand; plus he records his lecture which is very relevant if you do have to miss class. Exams are based on lectures and the textbook.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. Coleman is great! He teaches PoliSci without bias (which is a major accomplishment) and really wants students to understand the material. If you've ever had an American Govt. class before you will find this class to be a breeze. Unfortunately Prof. Coleman is leaving UW at the end of this semester so you be able to take this class with him.Rate My Professors ↗
Coleman is super smart, well-spoken, and un-biased. He coordinates well with the text book (he co-wrote it, too), and his tests were all multiple choice and pretty easy! We had 3 tests including the final and one paper. He put all his lectures online so you don't have to go to class if you don't want to.Rate My Professors ↗
