Made the class really easy to understand by having us do all the same things each week. The only downside is you have to go to the lecture meeting basically just for attendance. The class only really took about an hour outside of class a week, which is where you do most of the work. John is also fun to talk to overall he has a ton of experience.Rate My Professors ↗
Wasn't an easy class, but Booske was by far the most helpful and accessible professor I had during the online COVID semester. Replied to all my emails in less than an hour, and even took personal time out of his night to meet with me once when I was struggling. He was always eager to help and very friendly. Really a fantastic professor. I was skeptical about the flipped classroom format going in, but he totally sold me on it. Problem sets are pretty similar to example problems and thus fairly easy, but are very effective at teaching you to do the problems. Professor Booske is amazing. He's really very clear and takes the time to reply to you and make sure you understand the material. 219 is pretty easy, the questions are usually constructed to be easy to solve, but may look intimidating. Video lectures can get pretty boring and slow, doesn't allow you to fast forward or play at a higher speed. Class itself is very easy, and he gives you plenty of chances to get an A.Rate My Professors ↗
