I enjoyed the exposure to visual culture, but Jill is simply out of touch with reality about student needs to an concerning degree. I do not recommend her courses to those new to art history.  ",

I found that I enjoyed their class, but the lectures were a little hard to follow occasionally because of the format (long paragraphs, no bullet points). The course was extremely eye-opening and definitely developed more critical thinking skills. ",

The projects all have confusing prompts that don't make sense. Attendance is mandatory. I took this class for the ethnic studies requirement, but there are definitely many more interesting courses with better professors. ",

She does have lecture participation points that make lectures mandatory but they aren't too bad, she just reads off her powerpoint slides. The projects were very doable and didn't take a lot of effort. I would recommend this class for the ethnic studies gen ed credit.",
