I loved having class with Prof Sayre! She's amazing and very passionate in what she does. She can relate many topics in class together, no matter what tangents we may go on in discussion. She also lets students explore various forms of writing, not just the standard 5-par. essay.Rate My Professors ↗
I had Prof. Sayre this past fall. As an English major, I can safely say Prof. Sayre was one of the best professors I've had. Despite the fact that her class is difficult, she is wonderful at instructing in a small class environment. She is insightful and demands critical thinking of her students. Very strict with attendance. One minute late and you get docked points. No excuses. Lectures are mostly filled with pointless other details and she uses Prezi for her presentations which is very difficult to take notes from. Read the materials, keep track of the details of the books, and make sure you practice text analysis. Stay on her good side.Rate My Professors ↗
Lectures are NOT informational, hard to follow, a complete mess, she doesn't use powerpoint, but on top of that, she just reads off a script for 75 minutes. Always gave me a condescending attitude. Awful. Just completely awful. Lectures were impossible to follow, she was extremely rude and pretentious. If it wasn't for having an awesome TA in that class I would've been completely lost. Avoid this class if "Dr." Sayre is teaching it..Rate My Professors ↗
