Ever hear of a lesson plan? That keeps teachers on track so they know what they are doing each day, and fairly evaluate students. This is exactly the folly of PhDs with no degree in education. Even a 100 hour teaching seminar before they are hired would be of great use. You'd think an institution of higher education would've figured that out.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Loewenstein was a pain at the beginning of the semester, but as time went on I started to appreciate her teaching style. She is disorganized and changes things frequently and she's old school, but she is a very skilled lecturer and you will learn a LOT, and has many years of experience in the Middle East. I recommend her.Rate My Professors ↗

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WORST PROFESSOR.Rate My Professors ↗

This is a professor who's person liberal opinion clearly trumps facts, current events, and accurate historical account. Mrs. Lowenstein comes across as an obvious (and sometimes insulting) attempt at academic indoctrination. suggestion....... stay away.Rate My Professors ↗

She's extremely disorganized and goes off on very long tangents in lecture. When she does talk about course material it's very interesting, but you don't need to go to lectures to get As on exams. You can learn it all by yourself very easily.Rate My Professors ↗
