Dr. Gaddis is extremely inspirational, impressive, and really wants to see you grow. She assigns some writing/reading-heavy assignments but they really help you grow as a student and as a professional. Her content generates really interesting discussions and I definitely encourage taking a class from her if you can.Rate My Professors ↗

Extensive pre-work and a quiz before each class. First major project is completing an oral history, which I enjoyed and thought was valuable experience. A significant portion of your grade comes from a final group project, and you're graded as a group. Lectures were mostly small group discussions, and the prompts were the same from the homework.Rate My Professors ↗

Jen really likes group discussions. Almost every day you will be sitting in pods and discussing with your classmates, which I really enjoyed. There is a pre-class quiz due before each class meeting, 1 paper, and 1 group final where you can do a paper or a podcast. Overall, I really enjoyed this class and felt it was a good first step into CNPL.Rate My Professors ↗

Boring/awkward person. H the class do an Oral History Project. You dont learn much and you cant use technology during class.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof. Gaddis is very respectable and willing to help! Class is really easy, but attendance is recorded and mandatory. Topics covered are interesting and relevant to current society. Attendance, pre-class quizzes, 2 papers, and final group project make up your grade. Easy A.Rate My Professors ↗

This is a new class, so it's clear the professor is still trying to figure out the curriculum. There is a guest lecturer almost every day after the first few weeks of class. The teachers are very understanding and want you to do well. The textbook is only used the first two weeks of class. No midterm or final exam, only group projects and papers.Rate My Professors ↗
