I was failing this class because I hate this subject so much, but it's a requirement for my major. I called him with my concerns, and not only did he stay on the phone with me for 16 minutes, but he offered lots of help and allayed my fears. He's a great guy in my book. Dude likes to talk. A lot. He's OK, but not very engaging and gives exams the same day he needs to finish up his lectures. Avoid this class if you can, especially since it's only once a week.Rate My Professors ↗
very boring lectures, especially if you take the seminar one like i did. the fact is that he thinks you are way more knowlegable about mayan glyphs than you are for an intro class, and for being a one twenty the work load was intense. however, he does let you re do homework and is good about helping you and emails. id say weekly homework is 4 hrsRate My Professors ↗

Great Proffesor. Keeps you interested and from falling asleep. His lecture notes were already online, so all you had to do was sit back and enjoy the story. Exam was a little tough though.Rate My Professors ↗
He's a solid professor. He likes to talk and is more into the archeological aspect of the topic. In my opinion, this led to him getting off topic and focusing on things I didn't feel were as important to the subject. Tests are pretty standard - Identification, Short Response, and Essay.
