Good at explaining things with clear criteria on what you need to know. Encourages class feedback and participation. Reasonable test difficulty and homework difficulty. Often goes off on unnecessary explanations/tangents.Rate My Professors ↗

Jared was a great instructor, he was easy to follow and he gave us a lot of resources that put us in positions to succeed. I would highly recommend him, so long as you take time to go to lecture. He goes over examples and answers questions thoroughly. He also was very accessible on Piazza and over email. He was also very fair with how he graded.Rate My Professors ↗
Great professor. Made the material relatively easy to understand and the lectures are entertaining. Tests are close to the practice exams that are given and pretty simple and straight-forward. The grading is more than fair and the class policies are transparent. Overall a great class to take and I feel like I got a lot out of it.Rate My Professors ↗
Very enjoyable lecturer, brings a lot of energy to class. The tests are very very similar to the examples that he goes through in class making them very simple if you write them down on the cheat sheet he allows you to make.Rate My Professors ↗
He reads of of many pages of his own notes, hard to follow, makes the topic very uninteresting. Grades are almost all off of tests, which are harshly graded. Not a good lecturer.Rate My Professors ↗
