Caring, understanding, and very nice professor. Fair homework's which were graded easily. Interesting lectures but they seemed to drag on and felt long after you hear her talking for 75 minutes. Very accessible with office hours. 349 has in class activities were are easy and nice to break up the long lectures sometimes. Glad to have her as a prof.

She was generous with grading and extra credit work. Am giving 3 stars mainly bc lectures weren't very helpful.I felt that she went quickly on things that were more relevant to the homework and exams and slowly on the parts that weren't.For attendance, lectures weren't mandatory; but only 1 absence for discussions even with a doctors note was rough

Truly one of the best professors at this university and cares about students in her classes. I was going through it mentally this semester and ended up submitting several assignments late, but Prof. S was always so kind and understanding. The class itself is not hard and if you attend regularly+do the easy work on time, you are GUARANTEED an A.

Silber was one of the best professors that I have had at this university. Her exam content is STRICTLY things you have actually learned and gone over, so you know exactly how to prepare. Her exams are not weighted heavily, but other work is, showing she cares more about you putting in effort to learn than if you mess up a question on the exam.

Professor Silber is a very friendly and knowledgeable teacher. She has a good understanding of the content of the course and always very willing to help students solve problems. The assignments are graded highly and each assignment will have detailed grading criteria. Assignments are sometimes time-consuming but the overall course workload is low.

Professor Silber is very sweet and caring and you could tell that she really cared about what she taught. This class was so easy and her tests and homework were clear with what they wanted you to take away from them. The lectures can tend to drag on and she can get upset if you clearly aren't paying attention, but I'd still highly recommend.

She is very knowledgeable about her field; however, her the coursework is very repetitive. She reuses slides from entry level courses in grad school courses and assigns exact assignments completed during class as homework questions. Overall, she is a passionate professor, but most of her coursework is very repetitive busy work.

Nice professor but can be very passive aggressive at times. Attendance is mandatory for discussion but not for lecture. Weekly homework assignments worth 15 points. Fair grading in regards to projects, homework, and exams. Would take again. Does not require you to buy a text book which is nice.

Very very hard to fail this class. Come to class and do the group assignments (very easy). Theres only like 3 tests and 4 reading assignments. By far my easiest class. Make sure to take this class in a tough semester.

Great professor who is very understanding of students. Genuinely cares that you learn course material and aren't just stressing over grade aspect. Hw/In-class participation activities had 70% worth of overall grade, making exams not as stressful, no cumulative exams as well.

Great professor and plenty of office hours if needed. Textbook wasn't required, but definitely recommend because she reads from it word for word in lecture. Attendance matters for certain in class assignment days. Tests were honestly kind of hard, but if you make a good note card, not too bad. Focuses on your understanding over stressing grades.

Took this class as a psych major but it was super interesting and I learned a lot. Prof. Silber is super caring and very passionate about the subject matter. However, in her lectures she speaks very fast with no time for questions and she will say quick anecdotes or examples that will later be on the exam. Wish I would have bought the textbook.

This class is not very hard if you have interest in design related topics. The issue I had with this class was silber's overuse of plane examples. She explains everything using complicated plane examples and I found myself having to look things up about planes just so I could understand her examples. Apart from that she's a pretty chill professor.

I had Hannah for two classes this semester and really enjoyed both. She wants to see her students succeed and all her assignments and exams are very fair. If you put the effort in it isn't too hard to do well.

Very helpful, understanding, and accommodating! She's more than willing to further explain concepts, and does seem genuinely interested in the topic. Understands the woman in stem struggle. Near the end of the semester attendance dropped & she got v passive-aggressive about it and many lectures were cut short, but that is my only complaint.

Absolute gem of a Professor and person. As a busy masters student, Dr. Silber is a breath of fresh air w/a focus on what matters and building relationships with students. Her lectures are flexible, online & in person; she is incredibly considerate to the fact we all have busy lives. If you come to class and converse, you'll have a good time.

Dr. S leads a dream of a class. She uploads lectures ahead of time if you like working ahead; for the most part, it's very easy to pass. Listen to the lectures, take a few notes, and complete the rudimentary assignments. Happy to take such a laid back class.

Everyone loves Hannah. She cares about her students, and she's much more concerned about you learning the content than stratifying grades. Study the slides and turn in the assignments and you'll be fine. Would definitely take one of her classes again!

Hannah was a great professor! Very accomodating and really cared about the well-being of her students- lecture material was easy to follow, interesting, and the workload was pretty light. Overall a really cool class and great professor!

Dr. S is a very kind professor who cares about her students a lot. She is always accessible outside class and willing to help. Her classes and test tend to be on the easy side, so if you listen to the material in lecture and review the slides (NOT JUST THE REVIEW SLIDES!) before the exams, you'll be fine.

I loved Hannah! She really cared about her students and would put in the time and effort for those who showed her the same kind of respect. I found the material to be really interesting, and really liked the workload of the class.
