Tseng is the man!! Best math class Ive ever taken. He makes it super easy to pass his class, but while also teaching you the material. Its not like an easy A, but his humor and personality make Abstract Algebra actually interesting. Do whatever it takes to get into his class. You wont regret itRate My Professors ↗
I thought he was a pretty decent professor until I took the final exam. The exam was not fair and did not reflect any of the material we had learned during the semester. Be prepared for anything because he will probably change the final for the next class.Rate My Professors ↗
I thought he was a pretty decent professor...until I took his final yesterday, which was absolutely ridiculous. It was not a fair assessment of what we had learned in class, and I'm sure everybody bombed it. I'm sure he made it extra hard, since everybody did really well on the second midterm. I agreed with the comments from the previous raters; then I took the final and everything changed. The final this semester was completely insane. While the midterms had straightforward problems from the HW, the final had problems you'd never even seen before. It wasn't fair; there were no indications that the exam would leave 100 students in shock.Rate My Professors ↗
