Holly is a great lecturer who knows and enjoys what she is talking about, but be warned that if you are not a strong writer you should choose a different class. All assignments/tests are essays and shes a tough grader. This was the most stressful class I have had in college and I put in a rediculous amount of work for a B.Rate My Professors ↗

Although the information is interesting, this class is way too hard for being 200 level. 1-2 page response paper (with strict format guidelines) every week, essay exams without any type of review sheet, and she is a TOUGH grader. You also have to do assignments in discussion.Rate My Professors ↗

Holly is intimidating and if you get on her bad side, watch out. But all in all she is the best history TA around. She knows what she is talking about and always gives a different outlook on the history because of her background. Holly was not very helpful, was a biased grader, and tried her best to deflate grades. If you are taking a US History class with her as the TA it would probably be a good idea to switch to a different one who does not use an arbitrary, deflating grading systemRate My Professors ↗
