The workload was not bad, but the grading was strict. Was knocked out of the A range by constantly receiving a 9.2/10 on every assignment. Most of the feedback received was "looks good", and never gave any indication of why I had lost points. Very irritating to get a 94.5% and still not get an A. Graders just want you to write to their beliefs.

His class was very enjoyable and easy to complete. However, he has a very strict grading policy and an A in his classes are 96% and he offers 0 extra credit. I was 4 points from an A with a 94% in his class and he refused to bump my grade. He also is very passive aggressive and pretentious.

Easy ethnic studies. Would recommend it to anyone. Plus the content was pretty interesting. No exams... just two papers, a 300 word response every week, and a 5 question quiz every week.

Online ethnic studies class. Nervous about the class being online, but the material was really interesting. Weekly 5 pt quizzes and 300 word responses, 2 papers, and 2 self-reflections. NO EXAM. Very easy. Shah very clear about the expectations and deadlines and made himself available for questions. I would definitely recommend, I learned a lot.
