Professor Jacobs is able to get you hooked and absolutely fascinated by land use policy, zoning and property rights law. He's very approachable, incredibly helpful and an engaging professor. The tests can be a little tricky, but if you go to class every day your grade will be fine. Despite that, I'd take another class with Jacobs immediately.

Harvey is a terrific prof. He is knowledgeable and thoughtful about many fields and thinks about them synthetically. He is organized and can be a bit formal. At the same time he is very accessible and responsive to students' ideas and needs. He chooses readings carefully, assigns a substantial reading load and grades based mostly on essays.
