He's a professor who doesn't dumb his German down for you. He speaks with native fluency about some really advanced topics in literature and calls you out when you attempt to use English. In this way, he is very intimidating. However, he's a good prof. Always encouraged discussion and ideas. You can get an easy A if you try. He improved my German.

Sweet guy, if slightly intimidating. Lectures weren't always "easy" to follow, but he always made an effort to engage the class and encourage participation. Def recommended for anyone interested in Kafka.

Professor Adler is one of the few German professors who can keep you interested in a discussion through a whole power lecture! He picks a good selection of interesting books, and the class is fairly easy if you read the books and come to class. Expect though that he tends to be intimidating and will call you out on mispronunciations!

A Very Important Man, so humble. His Burrow breathing comment: you would need a "structure." Sooo abstract.
