I loved this class. You will probably make some of your closest friends during the crane project. Graham is so chill and cool. He is very hands-on and truly cares about his students. The class is very well structured as well.

I would argue that he is one of the most hands-on professor. He gives the best feedback and is always, always, always willing to help even if it means it exceeds his office hours times. You can seriously tell he cares about his students and the curriculum and overall made the class enjoyable. It isn't nerve wrecking to ask him questions either.

Overall, a quite easy intro class meant to introduce you to a bunch of engineering concepts. Bewhere of the midterm, the review material he gives for it is useless. But the project is easy and most of the labs are quite short. Lectures feel a little useless tho.

Graham's ME 201 is a great course to learn a lot about important aspects of being a mechanical engineer. Some of the things you will learn in this course is Solidworks, statics, electricity, and more. In the end you will use these topics you learned to help construct a final project with a group.

Professor Wabiszewski is great. He is somewhat new so he was still figuring out the course when I took ME 201 (Fall 24), but it went over pretty smoothly. He did a great job trying to expose students of the different things that engineers do. The final group project is fun and valuable.

Graham is very kind and super approachable. He's a newer professor and still updating/changing the curriculum. Not the best or worst professor. Lecture attendance is mandatory (w/ TopHat) but you don't learn a lot in them. The material is kind of thrown at you in pre-labs. You will learn a lot, and this class helped me to get my first internship.

I thought Prof. Graham's grading was fair. The expectations were clearly laid out and if you took the time to attend office hours, the course load and complexity of assignments were easy to complete and understand. Lectures were a bit all over the place at first, but as the semester continued, they were very helpful. Good intro class.

Prof. W is a very nice person and I believe he cares about his students, but the lack of overall communication is frustrating. There is no advertisement on group project deadlines, or even that they exist. Lectures go over time and rarely incorporate necessary content for labs. I've ended up teaching myself most of the content.

Definition of professor early in his career trying to be "cool with the students", while also being unnecessarily strict on grading and late policy(no late work is accepted, even under circumstances such as tech problems). Terrible with instructions on assignments and unorganized revamped curriculum. 6 hours of hw a week for an intro to ME class.
