The class was fine. I did not have any GIS experience, and I learned a lot. It was very in depth and the labs in the class were extremely helpful. With that said, the TAs conduct the lab, and they were more crucial to my success than Guiming. Quiz every other week. Easy midterm, tough final - take it seriously. Good guy though.

If you've taken any GIS or Cart classes this is an easy class because it's pretty much the same content you cover in those. That said, lectures are long and the powerpoints seem strangely dated. Exam questions seem to test for really odd facts and require strange memorization that i expect to forget immediately once I finish this class
