While it was clear Profe De Ferrari is very knowledgeable, I had a tough time with her teaching methods. There often were not clear rubrics or deadlines for essays and was not always supportive of students perspectives when they didn't align with hers, which did not facilitate a productive discussion of materials.Rate My Professors ↗
Shes tough, but the class was fairly interesting. If you suck up to her and participate often and well youll be fine, but make sure youre paying attention. Her exams can be tough. Be ready to read a lot and not really understand why you got a grade.Rate My Professors ↗

i'm sorry but guillermina is just crazy. she once got angry with me for asking for a rubric bc she grades on how much she likes your writing/analysis. she directs the class like she wants students to give specific answers that only she knows and gets frustrated when students (1) can't read her mind and/or (2) aren't saying what she wants to hear.Rate My Professors ↗
VERY unclear grading. I swear she just picks a random grade. Some of my best work on exams got me a failing score, while other rushed ones have gotten A's. Forgot to assign essays so crammed them all into the last month! So cool! Commonly fought with students to the point of crying in class.
