He's a very nice guy, really wants students to succeed. This class is linguistics in Spanish though, the course name is misleading because it's about the last week of content covered. In class exams are straight forward, at home exams are interesting and solidify your understanding of content.Rate My Professors ↗
He is the best professor I have ever had; his lectures are very informative and clear. You have 4 exams, 2 of which you do at home, and a couple of quizzes. Attendance is not required for lectures, but you are required to participate at least three times during them. For discussion, attendance is required. Prof Armstrong is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about linguistics, and he manages to convey a ton of information while also making difficult concepts accessible and comprehensible to students. This is the second class I've taken with him and I've loved both of them!Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Armstrong is hands down my favorite professor I've had. He knows so much about this topic and teaches it so well. Exams can be a bit difficult, but as long as you study, you should be okay. Professor Armstrong is one of the most passionate professors I've had. His lectures are pretty clear, and he's always available to answer questions. Homework is about 30-40 pages of readings per week and answering a few questions that weren't graded for accuracy. I really enjoyed his class and would highly recommend!Rate My Professors ↗
Grant is my favorite professor, I have taken multiple classes with him, and his passion for the topic always shines through in his lectures. He presents topics in a clear straightforward way and grades fairly. He provides consistent support for students and gives great help during office hours.
