The major problem with Gerry is that he does not know the appropriate level to teach a class at. This class is supposed to be geared towards non-science majors, yet Gerry taught it at a level that was impossible for those who are not physics majors. This class was the most frustrating one that I have ever taken, and I do not recommend Gerry at all.Rate My Professors ↗

this class ruined all my interests in Physics. The professor even doesn't know 3 things 1)we are not science major! WHY DO WE HAVE TO KNOW IF WE CAN SAVE a WATCH FROM BALCK HOLE 2) we paid for the expensive textbook and Pro just ignored it 3): this course only values 3 credits why he has to make it so hard? 5 exams, 4 quizs and many HW every week.Rate My Professors ↗

Gerry is about the nicest man you could imagine. He is extremely knowledgeable and basically is a physics genius. That being said, being so smart is his downfall. Gerry is well prepared and organized, but his slideshows at times are too packed. Most people (including I) do bad because of having no interest in phys. He is a very confusing teacher. He is not good at lecturing and really just reads of very confusing power points. I generally understand physics and I enjoy physics but this class was the worst.Rate My Professors ↗
