At best she is passionate. But Gail spent more time talking boat her experiences and showing off her portfolio than teaching me anything. I learned no drawing techniques and honestly if you interpreted something differently or aren't a art person she can be downright mean. She expects you to do the assignments the way she would do them. Had points docked a couple of times because she didn't agree with my interpretation of a character or spin on an assignment. She also spends way too much time talking about her own designs instead of teaching us to actually do design.Rate My Professors ↗

Despite what others say, i thought she was fantastic! She knows everything there is to know about costume design and she's very helpful when you ask for it. Her assignments are fun, interesting, and relevant. The only reason she seems to pick "favorites" is because those are the ones that talk and participate. If you want attention, then talk.
