Genuinely, Dr. Frank is the best professor I've ever had. Her lectures make me excited to go to an 8 am. I feel like I've learned so much!! She cares so much about her students and will do her best to make everyone understand the course material. This class is NOT politicized. We don't know her personal beliefs because she shares objective facts.

Professor Frank keeps her students engaged in lecture and makes very funny jokes. However, she forgets to realize students have other priotities that don't only revolve around her class. Attedance is the reason why I didn't pass her course but she didn't even take into consideration all the hard work I put into her class. Never Again!!!

This professor talks all the time about how she is our “friend.” Her behavior is inappropriate. There are boundaries for a reason, but she doesn't view them as necessary. We are not friends. It is not appropriate to be friends with your students. The class is not difficult.

Dr. Frank deserves 5/5 and is my favorite professor. I took her Law and Sexuality class and seminar—highly recommend if you're interested in gender, law, or sociology. Her lectures are engaging, but effort is required, especially for the final paper. Exams are low-stress if you prepare. She's supportive, gives great feedback, and is very accessible

I could write a whole essay on Professor Frank. She is easily the best professor I've had in college. Extremely passionate, intelligent and an overall admirable human being. We need more people in the world like her. I was always excited to go to class and she knows each individual student by name- whether you realize it or not. 100% recommend.

I feel as if it was the most relevant and interesting course I have taken at UW. Dr. Frank tells amazing stories in class that help you learn. It is obvious that she is very hard working and cares about the well-being of her students! You should absolutely take one of her classes.

I took a summer class and now I'm in Frank's seminar. She truly cares about students in ways other profs simply don't. Her classes are only hard if you don't do the work, but she will push you to learn and grow. She evenly hates all politicians and I respect that she's pretty middle politically since she teaches controversial stuff.

Frank is super understanding, super funny, and really nice. I love her lectures. I took this class in the summer and it was by far the hardest class Ive taken. While the content was SO interesting, she grades extremely hard. do not underestimate how hard the tests will be.

This was the most frustrating class I have ever taken. Assignment descriptions were not provided until 3-5 days prior to the due date, even for long (8-10pg) papers. The assignment instructions in the syllabus do not match the actual expectations. Lectures are rambling + not useful. Extremely tough grader + takes forever to give grades back. :(

Frankie is an amazing lecturer and is so passionate about this topic. She truly cares for all of her students. However, this class was graded harshly and had an extensive amount of readings. There are three exams that are relatively reasonable. You have to attend every lecture and she will take note if you go on your phone/are not paying attention.

Frankie is amazing as a human and unbelievably passionate. HOWEVER, this class is not for the faint of heart or the lazy. I am neither and still struggled. This class was enlightening and enjoyable, but there is absolutely no reason for it to be a 3 cred course. The workload was EXTENSIVE and graded pretty harshly. 3 exams and an 8-10 pg paper.

The best professor I have ever had! She made three hour lectures feel so quick. An absolutely hilarious and caring person who loves all her students. She feels more like a friend than a professor at times. The course work is easy and all tests are open note and you have a week to do them. I would take a course from her again in a heartbeat.

I've taken two classes with Prof Frank so far and currently enrolling in a third. She's quite literally the best professor I've had at this University. I've never met a prof that cares so much about their students. All her classes are very straightforward - a few open book/open note untimed exams, and one 10 page term paper at the end.

Professor Frank was an amazing professor and lecturer! She showed a real understanding of what she was teaching and set up the class so the material was easily understood and digestible. She was great at dealing with students and showed a real empathy to everyone in the class.

Professor Frankie is on the of the most amazing professors I've ever had. This class was so interesting, organized, and fun. Her lectures feel more like a conversation with a friend than just a typical lecture. There are no real exams, just 3 "assessments" that you have around 4 days to complete, and 1 book report. Wish she taught all my classes!

Frankie is incredible: smart, engaging, hilarious, personable. Lectures were something I truly looked forward too, this class changed the way I view the world. If you take this class please actually show up, made me angry people would be so disrespectful in not attending lecture. Easy A.

Possibly the most caring and accommodating professor I have ever had. All of her lectures were engaging and the information was so interesting and related to the present day. 3 open note midterms which were very reasonable and an 8-10 page essay. Frankie is super understanding and willing to work with you to make her class the best experience.

Prof. Frankie is truly exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about her field. She really cares about every single student and creates a refreshingly positive learning environment.

She was the best professor I have ever had. The information is already so interesting but her passion about each topic made it all the better. She also brought her cat on zoom calls. Every lecture she stayed behind for any questions and constantly made everyone laugh. I wish I could take this class again!

She makes you feel like you're just having a conversation with a friend when attending lecture. Super knowledgable while also being funny and relatable. She makes everyone feel very comfortable and I would totally take another class with her. Usual amount of readings/homework you'd expect in a class, nothing too crazy or overwhelming.

Frankie is incredible! If you can, absolutely take her class. She is one of the best instructors I have ever had and genuinely cares about her students and the subject she teaches. Her class was so interesting and tests were so easy if you were genuinely interested and paid attention. If you do the work, you'll be fine!
