This is basically an asynchronous online class, so its more a review of the class rather than the professor. The lecture videos are terrible and often leave you feeling very unprepared for the labs and assignment, many students can't get close to finishing the labs in class, plus the way its graded you will struggle to find out what you did wrong.

Material is expected to be learned entirely from lecture videos that don't cover all of the content. The labs take forever for most students because things are not explained well and the labs often have a large jump in difficulty from the content that was briefly covered in the videos two days prior. Abnormally hard for a class of this level.

This is a flipped class so prof doesn't give lecs. Feng walks around during class and explains things very clearly when he has the chance. Nice and approachable. This class is not designed well though, and the only materials are recordings of Barry's monotonous slideshow. Need to study the material on your own if you want to succeed.
