Professor Bernault led very interesting discussions. However, I felt like she had more to say about my writing style than the actual content of my work. As a history major, I've worked incredibly hard on refining my historical writing style. For this class, I had to pretty much chuck everything out the window and adapt my style to what she wanted.Rate My Professors ↗
She is a very nice person outside of class, but if you constantly use passive voice in your writing, or have super long sentences, expect to be marked down 10% on each of your writing submissions. She is a very big stickler on style, so you need to make sure that your writing is impeccable, and even then there may be issues.Rate My Professors ↗
She is absolutely wonderful. I would love to have her again as a professor. She really cares about her students and she's the only teacher I've had so far that knows my name.
