I tried to like her; I'm sure that deep down she's a kind person. But she picked on students by humiliating those who turned in assignments late or were absent. Due dates were often unclear. We had assignments that weren't on the syllabus. It was an unprofessional and unenjoyable class environment. However, I learned a lot about photography.Rate My Professors ↗

I've never encountered a more ablest instructor. This person has no regard for human well-being, or any empathy. Sometimes people cannot physically come to class because of their health. She ignored all of the explanations McBurney gave to her about why it's necessary to excuse some absences in terms of health, but that was completely ignored.Rate My Professors ↗

This class deviates from the essence of photography. Professor Fani always asked us to take the "correct" photos. Even thinking about it is ridiculous: how could you define what is "correct" and what is not for art? She even mandated us to edit our photos on the school's computer instead of our own laptop.Rate My Professors ↗

Ignored the McBurney consultant's advice about health concerns, which forced me to attend class in pain. Attended late from pain and had my late work openly discussed in the class in a slightly demeaning way. Gave solid photography critiques, but the experience was uncomfortable and discouraging.Rate My Professors ↗

I just started this course, so either take it or leave it, Professor Fani is critical about attendance, even being a minute or two late, which is stupid. She proceeded to say she "understands" that other students in other classes yet said to leave our other classes early to come to hers on time as if our other courses aren't as important as hers.Rate My Professors ↗
