He's a nice professor, but he makes exams really hard. His lectures can become really long and drawn out because he goes off on tangents, and he can be hard to understand because he talks quietly. Exams are very specific, so pay close attention.

Have no idea why people are saying he isn't a good professor - on the contrary, he's a great one! He is so helpful with the exams, tells you what to study for the short answers, and is very quick to reply outside of class. Yes, sometimes the exams can be a bit difficult, but they are absolutely doable if you go to lecture. Love him!

Dr. Yen is helpful when you reach out to him, but his responses often take forever. Quizzes and assignments are poorly written, and sometimes contain no or several correct answers. Class consists of weekly quizzes/discussions, 3 midterms, and a final exam (or project alternative). Make sure you do well on the little assignments to keep your grade.

he is a great teacher, but sometimes he can be hard to understand. but, if you have any questions or any unclear concepts, just ask for help. he is really nice. his test can be challenging.

Eric is great! He's so nice and very helpful. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. His test questions are not difficult at all compared to Groblewski who co-taught my class. They are both fair but Eric is way easier. Go to class, pay attention, understand the concepts are a pretty basic level and you'll be totally fine!

Eric talks quietly and most of the time is very hard to understand. The material that he teaches is kind of confusing, it's not hard but it's difficult to follow. He throws so much information at you and it takes time to process it all. He isn't clear cut like the other professor so it's difficult to prepare for the exam. Otherwise he's a nice guy.

An obvious weed out class. Seems straightforward enough until the tests ask the most random/specific questions. Hard to prepare for.

Eric is very positive and happy, especially for an 8:50. His powerpoint are based off of the book which I found helpful. He is sometimes hard to understand, but not horrible. The tests are straight memorization, so as long as you put the time in you'll do fine.

He reads right off of the slide and it is very hard to understand him. The exams are very specific yet he makes it seem like they are going to be easy. I recommend being more prepared than you think.

Reads off of his slides word for word, which made lectures pretty boring. A few other lecturers come in throughout the course, and he doesn't do a very good job of communicating what information is best to focus on. Oftentimes the tests were much more detail-oriented then he would let on. I would recommend reading the corresponding chapters!
