The class (Anat&Phys 335) takes a bit of work but I think it was very well organized and the lectures were very informative and in depth.
Prof Walsh was the only reason I was able to make it to my 7:45 am lab every Tue/Thur. He made it engaging & explains concepts in way that everyone can understand. The class itself required a good amount of memorization & effort, but exams were all multiple choice and fairly straightforward.
best professor ive had in my life. perfect all around. not one single complaint
Best prof I had at UW
I had Eric for Anat&Phys 335 and he was amazing! He was very engaging during lab and was good at answering any questions I had. I found the textbook to be very helpful when I needed to review concepts that I didn't totally grasp from lectures. This class is a lot of work, but exams are fair and the teaching team is always available for help!
Eric Walsh is an absolutely amazing professor. You can tell that he cares, and his lectures are great. Anatomy is difficult, but he sets you up for success if you put in the work. 100% recommend.
Chill dude, would definitely take a class with him again. Had him for ANAT&PHY 335. The class is very organized, wasn't any busy work. Make sure to watch the mini lessons before the lab as there are quizzes at the start of each one. The exams are fair, I would recommend to review the lab content as there are usually are few questions on the exams.
Nice and chill guy. Honestly most content comes from the mini videos (i'm in anat/phys 335), but his in-person lectures are fine. He tries to make class fun which I appreciate. Everything is accessible on Canvas. Solid teaching!
Eric is a great instructor, he's really accessible outside class. He does not get paid nearly enough for how good he is (The class is difficult but going to office hours is really helpful)
Walsh is by far the best professor I've had in 3 years here. He's extremely passionate about the material and is always accessible to students for help. Lectures are very engaging and easy to follow, and he presents the content in an organized, interesting manner. He also cracks jokes during class, making it not so serious. 100% would take again.
The best ever
I had Eric for ANAT and PHYS 337, 338, and 335 honestly such a nice guy. His office hours for 335 was extremely helpful and you can definitely tell he's passionate about the subject & want his students to succeed.
Eric is a beast. UW-Madison is so lucky to have him! Solid prof. Big nature guy.
Prof Walsh is easily one of the best lecturers I've ever had. He was really young and down-to-earth. He's really nice and easily accessible outside of class with office hours or by appointment. Although the content of Anat 337 was difficult, he made it easier and really emphasized concepts that would be on the exams.
Eric is knowledgeable and an amazing lecturer. He emphasized difficult concepts that would be on the exam while using interesting videos/examples. Also very kind and accessible for questions outside of class. His exam questions were difficult but fair.
Eric is a really great professor. You can tell he cares about his students and he's very passionate about class material. The exams are extremely difficult and you have to memorize a lot, but this isn't necessarily his fault it's just the nature of the class. Wouldn't recommend taking unless it's a requirement, but Eric is solid.
