Professor Alarid rocks. She is incredibly knowledgeable and her lectures are generally engaging and very informative. Although I think it would be more helpful to have more substantive powerpoints, that is a relatively minor issue. Definitely my favorit Prof from 485.

Elaine clearly knows her stuff but makes lectures more intimidating than they should be. Group problems could also be more straightforward.
