Nice but so unorganized. Extremely slow grader. EXTREMELY.

Really good guy who is very easy to reach and talk to. Very enthusiastic about the subject and happy to help if you have any questions. Fair tests where he gives a full study guide which can be long, but still very helpful. Great dude overall and made me love the subject that I was initially worried about. 3 exams and one group paper. All fair.

This course was extremely interesting, and the professor did a fantastic job. I wish I could take more classes of his. He always had a smile on his face and always showed great interest in his class and his students. He truly cares about his students and their well-being and is willing to make adjustments to exam dates if you have outside issues.

Professor Hubbard was absolutely wonderful. He teaches with neuroscience, psychology, and educational evidence about how to improve learning and he uses these strategies really nicely in his class to help his students learn! Tests are very fair and group research paper is graded easily as long as you put in effort. I recommend taking this class!

Dr. Hubbard is easily one of the most chillest professors that I have had. MBE was thoroughly engaging and despite adapting it to a virtual environment. There was a big group project at the end which was not too bad.

Quite a meh class. It's true that Hubbard was accessible and gave good feedback. But, his material was shallow and bland. It basically introduced some basic concepts, babied along to group projects, and then, everybody gets an A! I expected more. It's the classic "give everybody an A, and I get great sentiments from students!" class.

Prof. Hubbard is an all-around good guy! The lectures were engaging and there was just a short quiz after each. He also lays out the entire semester so you know when things are due each week. Also no exams. I would definitely recommend!

Professor Hubbard did a great job navigating group projects in an online format. He was quick to answer emails and gave applicable feedback for the final paper. I learned so much through the research process and would HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone! As long as you stay up-to-date on weekly assignments, you will do well.

Very nice professor and gave great feedback on final project/essay. Was also super understanding with the pandemic and made the class easy and interesting. Graded solely on discussion posts, easy quizzes, surveys and one final project. If you put work and effort into the project you will most likely get an A.

Ed psych 326 was an interesting course especially if you are going into research. You are graded on lots of little assignments which is really nice because the pressure is low. The group project is long process but theres lots of guided steps to help you through! Low stress course. Highly recommend. Very interesting.

Ed is such a good prof and so nice! He is super engaging and is very approachable and available. If you do readings and his study guides, you will definitely succeed. Group project can definitely help boost your grade if you try hard. He is super knowledgable.

The class was super interesting and brought a lot of subjects together. The exams are easy and straight forward as long as you study a bit. Hubbard really helped me out when I was experiencing some serious health issues at the end of the semester and excused some assignments. Super caring and awesome professor, definitely recommend!

He knows how to talk. The lectures are longer than they need to be, and they are filled with his "personal stories." On day 1, he had us each do 5 minute introductions about ourselves. With 12 students in the class, this took up an hour of class time.

Three exams worth 20% each are insanely easy if you understand the material on his lecture slides (posted online). Participation is worth 5% (in-class, Tophat). The other 35% is for various stages of the semester-long group paper that is nearly entirely effort based. Lectures are long but reasonably interesting. Super easy class.

The lectures have a lot of material packed into them, but don't get flustered. Professor Hubbard gives a study guide before each exam--do this and you will get a good grade. There is one group project that is pretty much just participation based. Overall interesting class and good professor.

He is one of the most amazing professors at UW-Madison! I enjoyed this class much more than I expected and going to office hours was very helpful and beyond being an amazing teacher, he is an amazing person. The class is relatively easy, just hope you get a good group for the final project!

The material is pretty interesting, and he really appreciates test and lecture feedback. He has a background in neuroscience, so he gets pretty in-depth but is pretty good at "dumbing it down". While I do recommend this class, he does use Tophat.
