I got a kick out of Dr. Alexander-Davey and his excess erudition. He was a great lecturer and let our class of 15 or so into discussion fairly frequently, and led it well. Listening to him bemoan the process of getting a job in academia was an entertaining distraction, if not a little sad. I would absolutely take another class from Dr. A-D.Rate My Professors ↗
Ethan is hilarious, is a very sarcastic, almost cynical way. This is despite exuding formality that occasionally borders on pretentiousness. He's fair-minded, and generally can see both sides of most issues in discussion. If you want to get him riled up, try giving him an argument about how great globalization is.Rate My Professors ↗

He gives all the information in the power points so there's literally nothing to read. And he tells you what you need to know for the tests, there are ID terms and essays, its pretty basic. very little thought needed. and he puts funny pictures and videos in the power points to liven class up a bitRate My Professors ↗
