I took Italian 150: Race, Ethnicity, and the Italian Americans with Ernesto. He is one of the best and most hilarious professors I've had. You'll do a lot of reading, but it's all interesting, and you will discuss it in class. There are 3 exams, but they were all easy. This professor is a hoot, and you will not get bored listening to him.

Prof. Livorni is an awesome teacher; you can really see his love for the subject. Every day, the classes felt more like an exciting conversation than a lecture. I would definitely take a class with him again.

Take his FIGG PLEASEE you wont regret it ! Amazing professor, who shows he cares about his students not only in his classroom but also outside. Get ready to read many books, which you will then write about, but prompts given are manageable and you will do just fine! I would take this course again if I could!

Ernesto is a great professor. He is kind, passionate, considerate, helpful, and genuinely funny. I took his FIG course and thoroughly enjoyed the literature and content. He is also very approachable and always willing to discuss questions and concerns. I will definitely be taking another one of his courses.

I loved this class so much. he is a wonderful professor and I always loved coming to class to see him! the course was interesting and not too difficult. Ernesto is very invested in the material and he made me excited about it too!!! I wish I could take every class from him.
