I took Italian 150: Race, Ethnicity, and the Italian Americans with Ernesto. He is one of the best and most hilarious professors I've had. You'll do a lot of reading, but it's all interesting, and you will discuss it in class. There are 3 exams, but they were all easy. This professor is a hoot, and you will not get bored listening to him.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof. Livorni is an awesome teacher; you can really see his love for the subject. Every day, the classes felt more like an exciting conversation than a lecture. I would definitely take a class with him again.Rate My Professors ↗
Lots of reading but not overwhelming, study resources are provided, exams are open note, lectures are interesting and funny, and he cares about students/engages with themRate My Professors ↗
Take his FIGG PLEASEE you wont regret it ! Amazing professor, who shows he cares about his students not only in his classroom but also outside. Get ready to read many books, which you will then write about, but prompts given are manageable and you will do just fine! I would take this course again if I could!Rate My Professors ↗
Ernesto is a great professor. He is kind, passionate, considerate, helpful, and genuinely funny. I took his FIG course and thoroughly enjoyed the literature and content. He is also very approachable and always willing to discuss questions and concerns. I will definitely be taking another one of his courses.Rate My Professors ↗
