Rick is an amazing professor, who really cares for his students, and wants you to succeed. His lectures are engaging and thought provoking, and always willing to compromise with you for extensions on homework/projects etc. However, this class is very hard, and covers a lot of material in a short time, but Rick makes it doable.Rate My Professors ↗
He is the best professor ever. He is so kind and willing to explain anything not clear to you. He has a lot office hours so make sure to go to one and you can't stop it. I learn a lot in 302 and 333, which are difficult classes, but I got a good grade with him. BTW you can bring textbook and notes to exams.Rate My Professors ↗

Best prof I've had yet! The homework and the exams were challenging but his grading was generous. He managed to make a statistics lecture fun and interesting. Very nice guy, easy to talk to, my only complaint is that he was a bit difficult to get ahold of outside of class.Rate My Professors ↗

Applied Regression Analysis with Rick was fairly difficult, with lots of homework that took many hours each week to complete. However, I learned a whole lot and thought Rick was an excellent teacher--very friendly, clear, and kind, and always open to questions.
