About this rating

Raw average: 5.00/5 from 21 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Professor Walsh is hands down the best and most passionate professor I have had at UW. He is always willing to thoroughly explain concepts and overall just cares a lot about his students and their success. The class requires attendance and work, but Eric and the instructional team make it way easier learn the material and do well in the course.

Eric might be the best instructor I've EVER had. He is clearly passionate about the course and wants everyone to succeed. I've never felt more respected and inspired by one instructor, and I genuinely can't say anything bad about him.

Eric is phenomenal! He is super helpful and always willing to explain confusing concepts to students! My best exams were on the units that Eric taught. He is also so funny and wants to make phys fun; I have absolutely 0 complaints! Def do the readings, watch every lecture video, and never skip class though!

Eric is awesome! He cares a ton for his students and makes lectures go by fast. He is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and could talk for ages if you wanted. Incredibly personable and helpful as well. He and the instructional team make lab time an enjoyable experience and I recommend him greatly. Difficult class but doable

The class (Anat&Phys 335) takes a bit of work but I think it was very well organized and the lectures were very informative and in depth.
