OT's course was frustrating because the content was poorly organized and lectures were disjointed. Her accent made it hard to understand lecture, when she showed up. The required reading was her own book, which was interesting. I dreaded this class. I got a B because there didn't feel like enough material to study and the tests didn't reflect classRate My Professors ↗

Great class. OT is extremely knowledgeable and has a deep understanding of the subject. While some seem frustrated with the Japan heavy material, the culture is simply a device she uses in to exhibit different aspects of the subject. She is friendly and encourages students to come to office hours. Exams are based on the notes and readings.Rate My Professors ↗

I actually enjoyed the subject material but the class was organized very poorly and it was hard to know what would be on the exams. To add insult to injury, an entire section had to have an exam postponed due to the wrong exam sheets being printed. Poorly organized. Not difficult, but probably in your best interest to avoid.Rate My Professors ↗

She is definitely not helpful. She makes the class as boring as possible. You would think anthropology is an interesting class but she definitely goes out of her way to prove that wrong. Do not take this class with her unless you want to get a D in an easy A class!!!Rate My Professors ↗

Worst professor ever. Not a hard class but a complete waste of time. OT is senile and has no idea what's going on. You are supposed to learn about other cultures but all you learn about is JAPAN'S culture. She talks about something for 50min that could be said in 5 yet her published essays you read are extremely advanced and hard to understand.Rate My Professors ↗
