I took 2 semesters of Swedish last year and fell in love with the language thanks to Elliott. He's one of the most kind and genuine people I've had the honor of knowing at Madison and was an incredible teacher. Although the textbook work sucked, the projects and other assignments were always super fun.

First semester Swedish was so fun with Elliott! He made us want to learn more and showed us Swedish pop music videos and had great activities. Lots of workbook/textbook homework, but some of the assignments like watching Swedish movies make up for it. If you're considering it, take Scand St 111!
