Mrs. Bell is a wonderful instructor with undeniable natural gifts. The course is very engaging, surveying a wide variety of issues and covering both sides of each of them. She remained mostly neutral throughout the entire course, which was amazing to experience. She is respectful of all viewpoints and is nice to both theists and non-theists.Rate My Professors ↗
Ms. Bell is the sweetest person. She genuinely cared about each person in our class and did her best to make sure everyone got the chance to speak. The class requires you to come in with an open mind since the topics can be controversial, but the assignments are not hard. She is lenient about extensions and absences as well. Professor Bell was a great lecturer and made everyday interesting. There was a lot of work for the class (readings, papers, and daily self-evals during each lecture) but if you put good effort into your work, you would get graded fairly/nicely. Ms. Bell is honestly one of the most amazing professors I have ever come across. She teaches so well, and genuinely makes a hard class very exciting and fun. I feel as if I have learned so much through this class and genuinely enjoy philosophy now.
