Worst professor (professor???) I have ever had. She is an imposter. Miserable human being, and a total waste of my time. So happy to hear she was removed, and I feel sorry for anyone that ever had to experience her. Just awful.

Incredible professor. Uses the Socratic method in class which can be very intimidating. If you don't come prepared you will be grilled mercilessly.

Wiyaka is very interesting and have good stories, but she was inhibited by how this course was structured. I would take her for a different course based more in law than intro. We rarely discussed the many articles we read or prepared for our 6 essays throughout the year, instead watching movies. I would recommend doing your hw during these movies

She'll tell everyone that the class in impossible, but it's actually not bad at all - only 2 tests, no writing assignments. Read the cases and you're golden, she explains everything else you need in class. A bit intimidating, but a really cool lady once you get to know her. One of the best law classes I've taken on campus.

Good class--I learned quite a bit about Federal Indian Law. She is a very intimidating prof and makes the class seem like it is harder than it is, but overall she is very helpful and interesting. Don't be afraid to ask questions--chances are you'll feel stupid but she'll help you out. Sometimes a bit full of herself, but she's accomplished a lot

20% of your grade is attendance but she calls on the same people all the time, which is unfair for the rest of the class. If you like to speak out you will like the class. Involves 1 20 page page paper and a group presentation. Class seems a bit highschool-ish. Not too bad overall though

class was based on essentially 3 grades (paper, project, attendance) easy A if you follow through on these. Average professor overall, not a bad class at all
