David is a great guy and really cares about how everyone is doing. He is super funny and smart, really helped me be a better communicator. Lots of busy work, and definitely need to put in effort to get an A. A lot of how much you'll enjoy this class will depend on the other kids in your class and their participation, but fun class.

Gave me a poor grade for having medical leave despite doing all of the assignments. He claimed that attending lecture was mandatory to understanding the writing assignments that already had instructions on the canvas page and gave me 0's for late work despite having academic accommodations. Disrespected my mental health

Attendance is mandatory. The classes are really boring and you ant use your computer during class. There are two individual presentations that were stressful for me. There is a final huge portfolio worth the majority of the course grade, and it was so stressful and the topic was not intriguing.

Prof. David was an awesome for GB360. He wanted us to succeed in the course and was so accessible and helpful. I don't think he's a harsh grader at all, the grading criteria is super clear and he gives in-depth feedback, so if you lose points it's on you! There is a ton of work to do but it's a comm class so not surprising. I enjoyed this class!

Do NOT take GB300 with David Ward. This dude is a harsh grader and is against you all semester. I averaged a 16/20 on the emails because he would take off points for every small thing. For example, I got a point off for the heading at the top of my email for it saying SUBJECT: Apology: ... He said I used double colons. take the other prof, way easy

I took GB300 in the summer with Professor Ward. He is a nice professor and loves to talk. We had fewer assignments in the summer (in a shorter amount of time), so I can't attest to the school year, but it's (a lot of) manageable work. Sometimes objectives are unclear, but if you put in time and make an effort, getting a strong grade is possible!

Professor Ward was the worst professor for the worst class. He was so nitpicky when he graded our stuff and you would get multiple points off on 15 point assignments for missing a comma or really stupid stuff. Terrible grader

He talks too much. The lecture itself is not informative, but you have to go anyway. Make sure to submit homework before the deadline or he will only give you half of the score. Overall it's not a hard class. You just need to sit there, write, and pretend to listen.

David runs a really chill class, so attendance is never a struggle. Definitely loves to talk and lecture, but you get used to it. Just tune him out. Read the articles every day and participate occasionally for one of the easier A's you'll receive.

Prof. Ward was a great teacher even though he sometimes gets side-tracked and talks for seemingly forever. This class is really easy and if you need business electives it's interesting and an easy A.

Each professor seems to teach this course differently, which can be terrifying considering that they grade your portfolio. Ward: fair professor, relatively easy grader. Talks a lot. If you put effort in, this class shouldn't be hard. Just START PAPERS EARLY. Some busy work at the beginning of the semester. 3 speeches. Overall, enjoyed class!

Professor Ward is very kind and enthusiastic about his subject. However, you end up learning the material from your peers because there are usually 2+ group presentations per class. Furthermore, his sentences are never-ending and he takes about 20 minutes to explain something that should take 5. It's TOO easy to tune in and out and still understand

Extremely boring classes. I wish we did not have to go because I literally learned nothing from class. He LOVES talking and hearing himself talk. So much work, and he does not really make it clear what he is looking for.

Really good guy! Was very enthusiastic about the subject and made class interesting. He really does love to talk, but you get used to it. Class itself initially seemed like a lot of work, but as long as your group works well together its easy. Pretty easy A, just make sure you actually do the assigned readings! Definitely take him!

The class was a very easy A. Lot's of readings, tho. Professor Ward is very enthusiastic in this class, but also verbose. He often asks a question, overexplains it for 2 minutes, half answers his question, and then shuts up and lets the class answer. He was still really interesting, though, and one of my favorite professors on campus.

Took IB/MHR 320 with Ward. Fairly straightforward and easy class, you will learn a lot of useful skills about dealing with other cultures. Ward is a nice guy, but lectures tend to drag on with him talking on and on. If you talk to him outside of class, he is funny and likes to talk about sports. Lots of reading, with weekly quizzes.

Don't take summer course with him!!!Sooo intense!!! I'm gonna change the section! Quizzes are easy! BUT,writing assignments are not fun at all, except you are super expertise in writing!!

the most boring class in the world. 45 minute lectures on how to be concise. always promises "last slide" or "i'll get your input on this" but virtually no discussion, ever. just lectures on common sense. and dont waste money on the book either.

He was a bit borring. It is a power lecture and he always takes up the whole time. The workload isn't too bad but there are weekly quizes on grammar once a week. All business students have to take this class but if you can I would take a different teacher.

Lectures were relevant and well-organized. Tests required writing under pressure, which I find difficult. Big group project is stressful, but workable.

He was ok. Easy assignments and tests, but too much emphasis on group work.
