Weekly quizzes during lectures, which themselves were highly disorganized. He often forgot where he was in the lecture notes (which he doesn't post), and would spend five minutes trying to figure out where he messed up. Each lab is 2 weeks long, and sometimes the lab procedure/questions were changed halfway through the experiment.

Since this class is graduate level circuit (more advanced version of physics 321), McCammon goes through topics super fast, and tbh, sometimes confusing. However, he is always ready to help you during office hour, clarifying all the topics, and eventually you can learn a lot from this class

Do not take Prof. McCammon's classes online: he does not do well with the format. Lectures were very disorganized with no clear indication of which parts were really important and which were side tangents. If you do the homework and read the textbook, you can still do well in the class albeit painfully.

Cared very much about us, but can't teach well. Average on second midterm was 57. Borderline illegible notes, quantitative (and useless) tangents on how circuits are used today, and an inability to teach in an understandable manner. The book helps a lot, but this class was an exercise in frustration. (Probably better in person to be fair)

He is very knowledgeable about physics, and can do impressive calculations in his head. However, lectures are sometimes scattered and he expects students to understand too much material.

Unorganized lectures, difficult homeworks

WORST. PROF. EVER. BEWARE. Do not take this class for any reason. There is a ton of homework, lectures are useless and confusing, homework is impossible b/c text is awful. Tests are hard b/c you are completely unprepared. No partial credit. Terrible one on one, yells and is condescending. Wont help with questions. ONLY TAKE McDerrmit for 321!!!

A noted space X ray expert. Good lecture but you need to stay focus, otherwise read the book by yourself. A lot of homework. Exams are ok. He is a nice guy to talk to, very helpful at office hours.

such so much, he is useless... we need to study by ourselves with the textbook.
