It seems there hasn't been an updated review in a while. Taking BSE 367 online, I had very limited interaction with Prof Reinemann personally. All homework and quizzes were clearly laid out, and the exams were thorough but not impossible. I overall really enjoyed the lecture videos and overall layout of the course!Rate My Professors ↗
This online class is basically the recordings of lecture from the last time they had the last and all of that same content posted online without any changes. The weekly quizzes aren't bad but the group project is major - make sure you get a good group because it's a bear of a project to work on. Really enjoyed this class. The class was easy up until the final RETScreen project which took up a TON of time at the end of the semester. Really interesting content though and would suggest this class to anyone interested in the environment or renewable energy technology.Rate My Professors ↗
Class is online in the spring, so I only saw his video lectures. His teaching was okay, but the lectures were long and it was hard to focus. Online quizzes weren't bad. Beware: if you aren't in engineering and are in env. studies (like me), this is harder than you think it will be, but it's manageable. Projects are a pain.Rate My Professors ↗
The class is incredibly easy until you have to do the RETScreen projects. I'm an ES major and did not expect it to be so engineering-heavy. You don't really need to go to class, as all lectures are recorded and posted online and all assignments online. If you can understand RETScreen and are an engineering major, go for it.
