Amazing professor. Goes slow and seems to really care for her students. Tests are on the harder side, but overall it was a good class.

Tests on material not covered in homework or class. Would have failed twice had I not withdrawn at the last second. I went to a different school and got an A no problem. Terrible teacher and class.

Good prof, the TAs were a bit messy, and the discussion involves weekly quizzes, but Rivard is available for office hours and grades fairly. Also, she will gladly give you extra points if you show your work, even if you make mistakes. Not too hard a class if you show up and pay attention!

This professor is a kindred spirit. She is an excellent teacher; clear, caring, and challenging. She truly cares about her students and is very accessible and easy to talk to. 100/10 would recommend.

Great professor in lecture. Class grade is highly based off of midterms/exams like most math classes. One recommendation is study hard for the first midterm so you're not behind the whole semester. Also the textbook was pointless because there were tutorials online.
