This class has CHANGED! It's no longer the walk in the park like it was in the previous semesters. It seems there has been a shift towards microbiology and scientific classifications. That said, it's still an easy B. But if you want an A, you better be good at science--The units on sexuality and society have been shortened drastically

This is one of the easiest classes you could possibly take at UW. If you are not bio science savy do not be afraid whatsoever, this is a walk in the park. This class is also very interesting and the information is practically useful and who knows maybe it will save your life! If you want a rigorous science course then look somewhere else! A+

He is a really great teacher, he wants you to actually undertand, not just memorize info. I thought the class was boring at the end, it seamed like they ran out of stuff to teach but overall it was really interesting. If you are not a science major this class is great for breath credits, if you are you might get bored but it is still a great class.

For as easy as this class is, I learned quite a bit. In fact, by the end of the semester I knew more about HIV than two Red Cross AIDS instructors. I never missed a class because dull moments were so rare.
