Total of 400 points go in the gradebook: 120 from open-note quizzes, 30 from discussion posts, and 250 from exams (these make or break your grade). The class is mandated not to have final grades exceed a GPA of 3.2, so B's are easy, and A's are nearly impossible. Grading on essays is very strict. Definitely not an easy class but would for sure take again for how much I learned. Very well-organized Canvas page. Lectures are pre-recorded. Discussion help you understand cases. Even though this is a challenging class, I would still highly recommend taking it for anyone interested in Business Law. The grade distribution on madgrades is understandably intimidating, but law is a hard field, so it's not like any other law class is gonna be easy.
