One of my two favorite professors, ever. You are missing out on a lot if you don't take this class, with this professor. By far my favorite professor. His exams are hard, but everything you need to know is covered in lectures. If you ever don't understand something, just go to his office hours and he can clear things up easily.Rate My Professors ↗
Dave nelson is a great professor. He loves to teach and has been doing it for over 30 years. Not quite as good a lecturer is Cox but teaches the more interesting material. Exams require tons of memorization and can therefore be hard but thats biochemistry. Graded on historical curve and we rocked it, 37% of the class got A, 13% got AB.Rate My Professors ↗
Great guy, fun to listen to but is very unorganized and not prepared for lecture. He is often surprised at what is in his own power-points. At review sessions he just talks and make hand gestures rather than actually writing things down. The assigned readings and optional problems do NOT match up with the lectures.Rate My Professors ↗
His lecture covers basic metabolisms in organisms. Very helpful material and his teaching is very clear. Because of what he teaches, his part of the course requires a lot of memorization, however the content itself isn't that difficult.Rate My Professors ↗
